Mankind and nature makes mother earth unique from others. Today man is traversing vast spans in space in search of life elsewhere. Life is the essence of all senses. Life is the source of all creation in nature. Is the nature that we see is what is life? The life within nature is what makes it lively and makes it as beautiful as we feel it. This search for the inner life and beauty has provoked me to think differently and I have tried to express these in my paintings. The most beautiful creations of the creator in nature usually remain unseen. Life within Life is the expression of this search of mine. I have made a humble effort to transform the thought that crossed my mind mixed with the feelings that it invoked in me on the canvas as a piece of art. Even after so many years since I completed my education in the Institute of Fine arts. I strongly feel that the knowledge that I gathered from my teachers is most invaluable. Have I been able to thank them adequately? Is the relation between a teacher and a student limited to the imparting and gaining of knowledge only? I think what they taught us was not just the formal education covering the syllabus but developing in us the spirit for honest pursuit everywhere. I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to all my teachers. Artist Mohammad Kibria, Aminul Islam, Qayum Chowdhury. Janabul Islam, Shamarjit Roy, Abdur Razzak, Hashem Khan. Abdus Sattar, Hamid Uz Zaman. Abul Barq Alvi, Mahmudul Haque. Shahid Kabir, Mahabubul Amin. Abdus Shakur. Nisar Hossain. Rashid Amin, John Foote. Matin Sir, Bulbon Osman and Moinuddin Khaled. My profound regards to each one of them in my humble way. Even though it may be a Drop of Gratitude in the Ocean of Obligation.
